Red Onion Creative is equipped to handle all filming requirements across both the GFL and BFL.

Footage must be high-quality, stable, and with clear vision of play.

All footage is captured in 1080p high-definition quality. We’re committed to ongoing training and feedback for our camera operators to ensure filming consistently meets AFL Barwon’s standards.

Footage to be made available to AFL Barwon by 12pm the following day.

Footage can be delivered by 12pm the following day; however, we are currently achieving same-day delivery by 10pm.

Live stream one selected senior football match per week from each of the GFNL and BFNL.

Option to scale up to live stream all senior football matches, pending feasibility and cost.

Red Onion Creative has the capability to scale broadcasts to the highest level, as demonstrated in our work with the Gippsland Leagues and Ballarat FNL. Pricing is available upon request, as evolving technology solutions can impact startup costs.

Red Onion Creative utilises professional-grade cameras and a comprehensive range of equipment to ensure high-quality filming and reliable livestreaming on game day. Our standard setup includes broadcast-quality cameras capable of capturing 1080p HD footage, supported by tripods and long-range lenses for dynamic coverage across all angles of play.

Streaming platforms used and options provided.

All livestreams and match replays are easily accessible through the AFL Barwon website.

Red Onion Creative offers different streaming options to fit all needs and budgets. We recommend YouTube, as it’s reliable, high-quality, and streams can be watched on YouTube or directly through the AFL Barwon website without losing quality or ease of use.

While YouTube is our recommended option, we also currently stream games directly to the AFL Barwon website. This option offers a more controlled and branded experience but may involve higher infrastructure and operational costs.

Netball Veo Technology Livestreaming

Two Netball games are currently filmed using VEO technology, and we embed the feed provided directly to the AFL Barwon website for easy viewing.

We have the ability to add branding and advertising overlays to the stream in future, as well as create post‑match highlights from the footage for social media, sponsors and other digital use.
